The Boys & Girls Club’s mission is to inspire and enable all young people to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. This organization prepares our youth for life, provides them with safe and educational outlets where they can grow and challenge themselves.
The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendships with families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
